It’s been just under 2 years since I raced in the 2008 Olympic 200m Freestyle Final in Beijing. Exactly 2 years lie ahead before the start of the 2012 Olympic Games in London. We’re halfway there. Since Beijing I have made a few changes; including a coaching change and a location change. That said, I have never had so much fun swimming as I do now. I walk in and out of practice with a smile on my face, knowing that I am living my dream. I consider myself lucky to be able to do what I love to do, on a daily basis. In just under 2 weeks European Championships will start. These championships are simply a stepping-stone towards London. I’m working my butt off every day for 2012. As my teammates and I always used to say in college when we’re halfway there: HAPPY HALFWAY :)
